Senior Cycle Biology students visit Dublin Zoo for Ecology trip

5th and 6th Year Biology students spent all day, 26th April, in Dublin Zoo on an ecology trip.

Stratfords's Classics students excel in Ides of March quiz

Congratulations to the 16 students who competed in the Ides of March Quiz on the 25th of April in Blackrock College at 7pm. This was the return of the quiz after Covid. The last quiz was in 2020. 62 teams entered and Stratford came a very impressive 6th and 7th in the competition!

Lives Illuminated: Creative Responses by TY students

As part of the launch of the Lives Illuminated Exhibition on Thursday, 30th March in the school hall, a number of TYs presented their Creative Responses to the 'Elders' and to the audience. 

Tickets on Sale for the School Play - The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Tickets are now on sale for the Stratford College School Play "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon". 

Show Dates: Tuesday 2nd May and Wednesday 3rd May 2023.
Doors Open at 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm.

Tickets: €5.00 each.  On sale at breaktime all this week. Tickets must be purchased in advance as spaces are limited.

1st Years 2023 Orientation

Today our incoming 1st Years 2023 joined us for their school orientation. Led by our current 1st years, senior prefects and some TY students, our new 1st Years enjoyed a tour of the school and some fun activities outside in the sun. 

TYs go to Zipit Forest Adventure park

On Thursday, 20th April the TY's headed to Zipit Forest Adventure park in Tibradden to climb the trees and challenge themselves at dizzying heights!

Senior Prefects cherish valuable experience at the ISSU Annual Convention

5th Year senior Prefects, Luke Higgins and Hugo Burke attended the two-day hybrid ISSU [Irish Second-Level Students Union] An Chomhdháil Bhliantiúl assembly over the Spring holidays. 

Past pupil Nellie Warren (2021) has short story published

Congratulations to Nellie Warren (2021), who has had a short story published in a book called "Hindsight - Untold Stories from 2020" edited by Steve Fowler. 

3rd Year student's poem published by Fighting Words

Congratulations to Skye Deans in 3rd year who has been published in the Fighting Words publication, "Words of Love". The book was launched on Friday, 14th April.
